Cheese with Marmelada

This is such a simple idea that there is really no recipe but it is worth trying. Marmelada is a delicious set quince jelly that is readily available, cheap and keeps well. In very thinly cut slices it is surprisingly tasty served with strong goats and sheep's cheeses.

I have also come across it served as an appetiser with slices of pate and that too was a very good if unexpected combination.
