Lemon Wine Jelly

 

This is more sophisticated than the usual fruit jelly and is not too sweet.

200ml water
Juice of 2 Lemons
1½ tbsp Gelatine
2 tbsp Sugar
200ml White Wine
1 tbsp Sherry or White Port

Combine water, lemon juice, sugar and gelatine in saucepan over a low heat and stir until the gelatine and sugar are dissolved. Add the wine and port and chill in fridge til set. Serve with grapes and banana slices.
