French Toast

 

There are times when there is just nothing nicer for breakfast and it certainly couldn't be easier. Good Portuguese bread does make this extra special.

4 slices rustic Portuguese bread
2 eggs beaten with 2tbsp water
2 cloves garlic crushed
2 tbsp olive oil

Season the egg mixture with salt pepper and the garlic. Dip the bread into the egg mix and coat both sides until all of the egg is absorbed. Fry in olive oil until golden brown. Eat immediately with bacon or grilled tomatoes if desired.
